Josh Lee

LIFELONG RESIDENT

Josh is the son of the late Jack & Dolores Lee. He is a 1998 graduate of Vinita High School. After high school, Josh worked as a 911 Dispatcher and Police Officer at the Vinita Police Department. While working a full-time job, Josh went to college and earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Computer Programming. In 2007 he graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law with honors. He came back to Vinita and built a successful law firm that is now named Lee|Coats Law. While working full-time as a lawyer, Josh earned a Master of Science Degree in Pharmacy with a Concentration in Forensic Science from the University of Florida. 

A PUBLIC SERVANT

Even though Josh is a successful lawyer and owns several other businesses, he has always found time to give back to his community. Josh taught 8 years of 4th, 5th, & 6th-grade football. A couple of years of which, he would drive to Vinita 3 days a week from law school classes in Tulsa just for practice and games. Josh is also a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He serves the citizens of Vinita as a Volunteer Captain who leads the city's volunteer firefighters. Josh is also the Director of the Craig County Technical Rescue Task Force. This task force is made up of volunteer firefighters and police officers from all over NE Oklahoma. It is funded 100% from donations and grants - receiving zero taxpayer dollars. Since taking over as director, the team has grown and expanded into not only swiftwater rescue but also high-angle rope rescue as well as confined space rescue, and wilderness search and rescue.
